So what exactly are Chongqing Strange Taste Horse Beans?

...A good question. Julia and I found this little gem somewhere in Yunnan province, China, and even if we perhaps weren't big fans of the taste, we nevertheless felt that it deserved a couple of pictures (surprisingly, the package describes the flavour quite well: "peppery, sweet, salted and crisp").

Why name our blog after Chongqing Strange Taste Horsebeans? Obviously our blog is just like the beans: "good for home travel, recreation, tea and gift".
